Lillian Case

Lillian Joan Case, 85, of Hot Springs, passed away February 2, 2019. She was born in Joplin, Missouri to Lowell Edward and Lillian Grace McGee Sale, who predeceased her along with her son, Gregory Alan Case.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William Bob Case; daughter, Kimberly Case of Largo, Florida; sister, Joyce Elrod of Little Rock; brother, Raymond Sale (Relda) of Midland, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah, Justin and Clifton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Joan graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1951, "Go Wildcats!" She attended Arkansas Law School and became a legal secretary for the Prosecuting Attorney. She also worked for the Arkansas State Legislature, the Federal Savings and Loan Administration, and retired after managing stores for Tuesday Morning in Little Rock. Following her retirement, she and Bob traveled around the world, visiting more than forty countries.

They were founding members of St. James United Methodist Church. After moving to Hot Springs in 1996, they joined First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. Joan loved the Lord, her family, and her adopted family, the Friendship Sunday School class. She and Bob felt so blessed for their 65 years together, with so many friends who encouraged and helped them along the way.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, officiated by Rev. David Moseley. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1100 Central Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
