June (Williams) Hughes age 87, of Donaldson, passed away Friday, January 3,2020 in Malvern. She was born June 9, 1932 to Dr. Donald B. and Aneleh G. Fox Williams. June was a member of Ouachita Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Yankton High School in Yankton, South Dakota and married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth C. Bitterman. June resided in Yankton for many years before moving to Arkansas.

June loved the LORD. She was an in-home caregiver, June loved taking care of others. She loved animals especially dogs and cats. She enjoyed crochet, was a very generous person and loved her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Richard E. Williams; one daughter, Lisa Marie Bitterman and her husband, Julius F. (Jude) Hughes.

Survivors are her children, Douglas James Bitterman, Linda Joan (Bitterman) Frey, LeAnn June (Bitterman) Minette, Nancy Donaline (Bitterman) Schurman, David Kenneth Bitterman, Dan Christopher Bitterman, Amie Susan (Bitterman) Rush, Belinda Abbott and John Aiken; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3-5 PM Sunday, January 5th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 6th at Ouachita Cemetery at Donaldson
