Lola Warren

Lola Lee (Harbour) Warren, 93, of North Little Rock, was united with her beloved husband and daughter in heaven, October 9, 2020.  She was born to the late John Lee Harbour and Lola Lee (Chisolm) Harbour in Meridian, Mississippi on April 25, 1927. She met the love of her life, Navy Seaman Charles J. Warren in 1944 at the Avenue Lounge in New Orleans.  After two dates, he proposed marriage.  She said “yes” and thus began their seventy-three-year journey.  After settling in North Little Rock, they started their family.  Lola lived her life devoted to her three children, caring for them, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Warren; her first born child, Charlotte Lee Smith; and seven siblings.   She leaves to cherish her memory, Pam (Art) Quagliani of Dallas Texas, Jay (Lisa) Warren of North Little Rock; six grandchildren, Jamie (Sheala) Smith, Clay (Karla) Smith, Coby Smith, Scarlett, Sterling and Charlie Warren; ten great-grandchildren, Hayley (Chris) Dwyer, Jake Smith, Evyn Smith, Sheridan Smith, Gray Smith and Peri Smith, Brady and Skyler Smith, Keller and Asher Smith; and two great-great grandchildren, Juliet and Faye Dwyer.  The family would like to thank Lakewood Nursing Home for all of their dedication, love and support for our mother.  They are truly angels on this earth. Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist in North Little Rock. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Please visit www.smithfamilycares.com/sherwood to sign the online guestbook.
