Lucille Harshaw-Hood was born March 28, 1940 to the Late L.T. and Ara Harshaw. She grew up in Hickory Plains, Arkansas where she attended school. She was a mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and to all her nieces and nephews; she was "Aunt Ole-baby". She was preceded in death by her mother, Ara Williams-Harshaw, Father, L.T. Harshaw, two sons, Van Medlock, John Hood, Jr.; two brothers, Roy Lee Robinson, Henry Harshaw and three sisters, Juanita Harshaw, Lilly Mae Pinkney, and Anne Jackson. She is survived by seven children; Ollie McGee and Margaret Hood both of Little Rock, Cecille Hood of Beebe, Angela Hood of Jacksonville, Danny Walker, Paul Hood of Beebe and Kenneth Robinson of Little Rock; twenty one grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five sisters, Ara Bradley, Sandra Moreland (Feard), Diane Harshaw, Clara Young (Larry), all of North Little Rock, Mary Kennedy of California; one brother, Plummer Harshaw (Dorothy) of North Little Rock; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. She is a lovely angel as she was on earth.

The family of Lucille Harshaw-Hood would like to simply Thank You for all your prayers, thoughts, cards, and visits in this difficult time. Special thanks to Patsy Ann Nelson and Deborah Ann Washington. We were blessed to have a angel in our lives, and thank you for celebrating her Home Going with us. To be absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord. May God bless each and every one of you.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hickory Plains.
