Martha Kinnaird

Martha E. Kinnaird age 93, of Arkadelphia, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 in Arkadelphia. She was born September 3, 1926 in the Hearn Community near Arkadelphia to the late George H. and Lucy A. Taylor Carter.

Martha was a member of Second Baptist Church and a retired secretary for the Arkadelphia Public Schools. She loved to cook, was known for her pies and loved her church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over seventy years, Vonnie Kinnaird; her twin sister, Mary Gibbs and three brothers, Buford Carter, Kenneth carter and Herbert Carter.

Survivors are two sons, Jerry Kinnaird of Arkadelphia and Joe Kinnaird of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Emily, Jarrod, J. C., Sloane and Lillian.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Monday, December 30 ^th at Second Baptist Church.

Services will follow at 2:00 PM, Monday with Bro. Stan Paris and Bro. Louie Heard officiating. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pam Davis for her sisterly care and thoughtfulness.
