Martin "Marty" Bieniek

Martin “Marty” J. Bieniek passed away on January 14, 2022, at age 62.  Marty was born in Amsterdam, NY, on March 30, 1959, to Joseph and Ruth Bieniek.  The family resided in Fort Hunter, NY.  In 1972, Marty relocated with his family to Belen, NM.  Following high school, Marty moved to Albuquerque, NM.  His employment with Southwest Radiographics brought him to Farmington, NM, and Colorado Springs, CO.  Marty changed careers to the manufacturing industry and settled in the Denver, CO, area.  He had a lovely home in Aurora, CO, for many years.  After retirement in 2021, Marty moved to Hot Springs Village, AR.

Marty’s quick wit, infectious smile, and love of the Denver Broncos will forever be remembered.  He loved the outdoors and took many memorable backpacking trips in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.  Marty was an excellent skier and golfer.  He was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and contributed to several charitable organizations.  He attended church in Aurora.

Marty is survived by his sister, Joanne Malecki and her partner, Frank Lewandusky, Sr. of Waterford, NY, his sister, Virginia “Ginny” Callahan and her partner Dan Martin of Albuquerque, NM, his sister Theresa Sisneros, of Antonito, CO, sister-in-law Sylvia Bieniek of Medford, OR, and several nieces and nephews.

Marty is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Ruth, brother Robert “Bob” Bieniek, brother-in-law Tom Callahan, and brother-in-law Gerald Sisneros.
