Mary Solomon

Mary T. Snyder Solomon of North Little Rock passed away March 12, 2021.  She was born to Benjamin and Sarah Snyder on October 7, 1927 in Algoa, Arkansas (Jackson County).  She attended school in Newport and at Capital City Business College.

Mary worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone (AT&T) for 33 years retiring in 1986 as a manager in Network Services.  She was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, Telephone Pioneers and 49er’s Club.  After retiring she enjoyed working at Oaklawn and watching the horses run.  She liked to crappie fish, travel and was an excellent cook.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph and Randy Snyder; and step son-in-law, Keith Brown.  She is survived by her husband, Jimmie; niece, Randa Johnson; nephew, Ben Snyder; two step-children, Karen Brown and Mike (Kim) Solomon; grandson, Dale (Hailey) Solomon; and two great-grandsons, Landon and Gavin Solomon.

Visitation will be from 10:30AM-12:30PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hey 107).  A graveside service will follow at 1:00PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Sylvan Hills Church of Christ Caring Hands, 117 West Maryland Ave., Sherwood, AR 72120.

Masks and social distancing are required.
