Michael Lee Hughes, 60, of Malvern, Arkansas passed away May 10, 2021. He was born December 29, 1960 in Malvern to the late Lyndal Lee and Sara Ann (Collins) Hughes.
Michael was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He was the #1 Razorback fan. Michael enjoyed watching western movies. He loved animals of all kinds. Michael had the biggest heart in the world and cared about others. He would give the shirt off his back if anyone needed it. He often said, “There’s always someone worse off than me. If I’ve got it, you’ve got it!”.
Preceding Michael in death are his wife of thirty years, Deborah Lynette Hughes; parents, Lydal Lee and Sara Ann Hughes; sister, Virginia Ann Hughes; brother, Jimmy Dale Hughes; and nephews, Matthew Ellis and Cecil James “CW” Hughes.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Kayla K. “Baby Girl” Hughes; two sons: Michael Lee Hughes and Aaron Martin Lee Meyer; daughter-in-law, Katie Lee Meyer-Williams; grandchildren: Dalton Meyer, Kaileigh Meyer, Justin Meyer, Isabella Songer, Skylie Songer, and William “Elias” Holiman; sister, Teresa “Sissy” Hughes-Savage; brother, Douglas Lynn Hughes; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who love Michael and will miss him always.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
