Michele Light

Michele Diane Light, 44, of Benton, Arkansas passed away June 21, 2020. She was born January 26, 1976 in Benton to Audrey Kay (Day) Tully and the late Mickey Edward McGuire, Sr.
Michele loved the Lord and attended Benton First Assembly of God. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Two of her favorite things were Tweety Bird and LSU football. Michele also enjoyed spending time outdoors riding four-wheelers and squirrel hunting with her brother, Mickey. When watching movies (especially superhero movies), Michele insisted on wearing her pajamas, and cuddled up with her blanket and body pillow. She always had a desire to be a forensic scientist and watched every episode of "The First 48" television series. On her list of favorite things to do were playing Transformers game on the phone with her brother, taking long, relaxing drives in her car, latch hook kits, and watching Dallas Cowboy or LSU football. Michele never met a stranger and would talk to anyone-AFTER her morning coffee!
Preceding Michele in death are her father, Mickey Edward McGuire, Sr., and grandfather, Gleason Bearden.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons: Alan Grantham and wife Gina of Gibson, Arkansas and Stephen Grantham of Nebraska; mother, Audrey Kay Tully and husband Rod of Benton, Arkansas; brothers: Mickey Edward McGuire, Jr. and wife Linda of Benton and Shaun Michael McGuire of Union, Mississippi; grandparents: Joel and Audrey Day of Lake Elsinore, California and Bonnie Bearden of Benton, Arkansas; step-granddaughter, Skyleigh Farnam; uncles: Steve McGuire and wife Lisa of Benton, Richard McGuire and wife Becky of Benton, and Gary Day of Missouri; aunt, Diane Rowe and husband Dean of Santee, California; nieces and nephews: Seger McGuire of Union, Mississippi, Summer McGuire of Newton, Mississippi, Lance McGuire of East End, Arkansas, Logan McGuire of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Ronnie Layton of Benton, Jessica Gould and husband Chris of Helena, Arkansas, and Crystal Layton of Benton; and a host of family members and friends who love Michele and will miss her always.
