Mildred Stewart

Mildred Stewart of North Little Rock entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, October 14 at the age of 84. She was born in England, Arkansas on August 6, 1937, to the late Wilson and Carlee Driskell. She married Howard Stewart on December 6, 1958, and they were inseparable for sixty-two years.

She is survived by husband, Howard Stewart; son, Greg (Tami) of Rogers, and daughter, Stephanie Kinney of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandson, Roy Kinney; granddaughters, Amanda (Eric) Brooks and Mary Stewart; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Stauf.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of North Little Rock for forty years, where she worked in the Sunday School office. She enjoyed being a part of the Challenger Sunday School Class and the Keenagers group where she and Howard enjoyed many trips traveling across the country. Over the years she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, watching baseball, various crafting projects and spending time with family and friends. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. Her warm hugs will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Monday, October 18, 2021, at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock with Pastors Brian Dollar and Randy Jumper officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00am.
