Neil Tidwell

Neil Franklin Tidwell, 95, of McRae went to his heavenly home, on his 95th birthday, June 10, 2020.  He was born to George and Bessie Tidwell on June 10, 1925.

The son of sharecroppers, Neil was raised during The Great Depression.  He honorably served in the United States Army during combat in the Korean Conflict.  Neil retired from Western Waterproofing after 33 years.  He also served his community as a Deacon with the First Baptist Church of McRae.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; brothers Raymond and Lonnie; sisters Willie Mae and Dura; brother in laws Donald Bradberry and WJ Leak and

daughter-in-law Joyce Tidwell.
