Norma Jean Green Evans 86, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went home to be with our Lord on June 22, 2021.  She was born on August 18, 1934 in Jacinto, Arkansas to Eugene and Mamie Green.  Norma graduated from Thornton High School in 1952 where she was a basketball player, cheerleader and voted the “Prettiest Girl” in High School two different years.  While in High School Norma met Clayton, the love of her life, they were married 68 years.  She was a loving wife, mother and Mimi to her only grandson Evan.  He was also one of her greatest treasures in her life.

Gave lots of pie lessons over the years.   Norma was a wonderful gardener, she loved flowers and grew beautiful ones, she was on the church Garden & Ground Committee several different years.  Norma loved to bowl and played in several leagues over the decades. She loved her special friends in her Bunco group, they always had big fun together. She also enjoyed a good game night of dominos with family and neighbor friends. Norma was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Along with her parents, Norma is preceded in death by two brothers, infant Ramey Green and Lynwood Green of Texas. She is survived by her husband, Clayton O. Evans, of North Little Rock; son, Steven R. Evans and his wife, Adele of Scott, daughter; Sondra D.
