Rachel Clara Green Ashcraft, 84, of Redfield, AR, died Thursday, March 4, 2021, at her home. She was born June 25, 1936, in Bayou Meto, Arkansas, to the late Aaron Green and Hessie Young Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Albert Ashcraft; a grandson, Keith Kennedy; a brother, Harold Richard Green; and her parents.

She is survived by one brother, Jimmy Green of Dewitt; one sister Debbie Smith (Richard) of Dewitt; one son Randy Ashcraft (Kathy) of Redfield; two daughters Donna Kubitz (Bubba) of Little Rock and Tina Ashcraft of Little Rock; seven granddaughters, Amanda Ashcraft, Amy Kennedy, Jessica Schueck, Jackie Ackley, Rachel Bolt, Randi Ashcraft and Kaylee Kubitz; eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was a Registered Nurse and worked for St.Vincent Hospital and a private practice in North Little Rock for 24 years.

She loved God and was a member of River Road Baptist Church.  She loved working in her garden and with her flowers.  Her best and biggest role was being “Nanny.”  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She loved all unconditionally.  Her heart and compassion were bigger than life.

Visitation will be Monday, March 8, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 p.m.  Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday March 8.  Burial will be in Redfield Cemetery for family only.

Pallbearers:  Andrew Ackley, Jeremiah Brown, Matthew Green, Matt Harbison, Patrick Schueck, and Eric Smith

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River Road Baptist Church , 723 River Road, Redfield, AR 72132.
