Randy Fite

Randall Keith Fite, 49, known to friends as Randy, left this world for his heavenly home on November 14, 2019, in Hot Springs, surrounded by family and love. At his side for the past 29 years and up to the moment of his death was his wife, Patricia “Trish.”

Randy was born in Lutcher, Louisiana, to Jeanette Carter Fite and Roy Fite. He spent recent years in New Augusta, Mississippi, and lived most recently in Joan, near Arkadelphia. He was a member of First Baptist Church of New Augusta, Mississippi.

Randy was larger than life in every way. He touched hundreds of lives with his compassion, generosity, love, friendship, and humor. He will be forever missed and his memory will be cherished by those he left behind. He was a man who believed that he had much to give, and he was always there for anyone who needed him.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman and spent many hours hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a first responder and volunteer firefighter for many years, and touched countless lives in this capacity. He served as a youth football coach and touched many other lives in that role. He worked hard over the course of his life, as a mechanic, maintenance manager, and pipefitter.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette Carter Fite and Roy Fite, and one brother, Troy Fite.

Randy is survived by his wife, Trish, of Joan; one son, Troy Fite of New Augusta; one daughter, Ashley Fite of Joan; two brothers, Glen Fite and Wendy of Gurdon, and Cecil Fite and Connie of Joan; two sisters, Colene Fite-Tabor and Alan of Joan, and Dixie Boggs and Larry of Cabot; his mother-in-law, Rosie Pate; and many nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
