Randy Shehane

Randal "Randy" Carter Shehane, age 59, passed from this life on September 30, 2018, in Hot Springs, AR.

Randy was born on October 23, 1958 in El Dorado, AR, to parents Harvey Shehane and Velva Finley, formerly Shehane. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1977. Randy spent the majority of his professional career working within the welding industry. Randy found his happiness and soulmate in Terri Stephenson. Together with Terri, her three children, and granddaughter, he enjoyed his time sitting outside at their lake house in Hot Springs. Randy had a life filled with excitement and adventure. He loved collecting Indian artifacts, being outdoors, and listening to Rock N Roll music. His family and friends will remember him as a kind soul that had a free spirit who never met a stranger.

Randy is survived by his sister, Brenda Bowline (Skip), of Winston Salem, NC; his brother, Robert "Bob" Shehane (Susie), of Arkadelphia; his brother, Greg Shehane (DeeDee) of Emerson, AR; his son, Justin Shehane (Sarah), of Benton, LA; his son Randal Shehane, of Arkadelphia; daughter, Sarah Shehane, of Arkadelphia, 6 grandchildren; Carter, DeAndra, Lyla, Holden, Brynlee, and Hudson, and a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Shehane, of El Dorado; his mother, Velva Carter Finley, of Arkadelphia; and his step-father, Truman Finley, of Arkadelphia.

A visitation is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 3rd with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 4:00 PM at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral home in Arkadelphia. Bro. Bobby "Bubby" George will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Randy's life. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Doug Ware, Russell Cox, Terry Cox and Loren Cooper.
