Richard Cline

Richard Clark Cline, born 3 October 1936, passed away at home on the night of 29 October 2020.

Richard was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to his parents, Paul Joseph Cline and Lida Ellen Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Charlene; son, Paul; daughter-in-law Suzanne; grandsons, Noah and Jacob; and son-in-law Danny Williams.

Richard served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1977.  He retired as a Master Sergeant after being stationed in Illinois, Nebraska, Florida, Arkansas, California, and the territory of Guam.  His specialty in the Air Force was flight simulators, of which his work on the B-52, C-130 and SR-71 was notable.  After serving, he returned to live in Arkansas and worked at Orbit Valve and Little Rock AFB, both as a civil servant and contract employee.

Richard was a lifelong learner who loved airplanes, exploration, space flight, and military history.  He loved reading mysteries, building and flying model aircraft, eating good food, and spending time with his loving wife.
