Robert Migeot

Robert Louis Migeot, passed away in the early morning hours of October 1, 2021 at his home in Maumelle.  He was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 7,1939 to Louis and Marion Migeot.

Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sarah Migeot and his children, Adrienne Wilson (David) of Mississippi, Tracey Migeot of Little Rock, Cindy Schumann of Tennessee and his step-son Steven Cassil (Megan) of Bauxite; by his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and by his brother John Migeot (Joanie) and sister Helene Rohl (Ken) of California.

He moved to Arkansas in 1971 and immediately discovered the joys of hunting and fishing in the Natural State.  Bob was an avid fisherman and duck hunter and an ardent supporter of Ducks Unlimited.  In 1973 Bob started making his Mojo Duck Calls, best known for the Mellow Yellow.

He spent his career selling industrial machinery and was a tireless tinkerer with mechanical devices. He once brought home a new motor for his fishing boat, in pieces in a large cardboard box.  A month later it was a working engine. The stories would fill the page - cars, trucks, boats, four wheelers, and yard equipment - Bob never met a machine he couldn’t fix.

A friend said that Bob had the soul of an artist and the mind of an engineer.  His artistic side helped him with his passion for landscaping and gardening. He was most proud of working with the church committee that designed and installed the landscaping at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Little Rock where he will be laid to rest in their columbarium.  A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church at 4501 Rahling Road, Little Rock, 72223 or www.trinitypreslr.com/donate.
