Ronald Smart

Ronald "Ronnie" Smart, 67, of Beebe, Arkansas was born to Ruben and Louella (Young) Smart January 25, 1947 and died Friday, June 27, 2014.

Ronnie was a Member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe, Arkansas and a Member of AMF (Apostolic Ministers Fellowship). Although he was legally blind from birth, he traveled coast to coast for fifty years as an Evangelist preaching and singing in hundreds of churches. Ronnie was also very active in the Ministry at White County Detention Center.

He is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Joyce Smart of Tickfaw, Louisiana; two sisters, Brenda Horn and Donna Crabtree both of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his Parents; Grandparents that reared him, Tom and Mindy Young and one sister, Carolyn Mason.


Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Beebe with Funeral Service to follow at 7:00p.m. An additional visitation time will be Wednesday at First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Sulphur Rock Cemetery.
