Rose Lambert Prince , age 81, of Bismarck went home to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2020 with her daughter, Lana at her side.

Rose was born February 22, 1939 in Gum Springs, AR. to Claude William and Eva Ellis Bradshaw. Rose had a long 36-year career as a 3rd grade schoolteacher at Bismarck Elementary School. Rose was passionate about her students and was loved by so many. Teaching was her life and love. Rose lived an active and full life enjoying family time, traveling and dancing.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Lana Lambert of Bismarck; brother, Billy Bradshaw of Magnolia; sisters, Mildred Whitson, husband, Edward of Curtis, Joan Wetherington of Arkadelphia, Mary Hollingshead of Amity; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dockery of Hot Springs and Floela Kashner of Greenwood; brother-in-law, Gerald Lambert, wife Fern of Amity; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Lambert, parents and siblings, Thomas Bradshaw, Doyle Bradshaw, Claudie Ware and Dorothy Norman.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Laurie Holliman, Natasha Nichols, Donna Martin and Lessie Anzalda. These amazing care givers allowed Rose to stay home throughout her long battle with Alzheimer’s. We would also like to recognize Dr. Fred Divers of Genesis Cancer Center, Dr. Jeffrey Bordelon and Melissa Mehalic of Hospice Home Care and their staff.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, July 6th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 7th at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Amity.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 201 Markham Center Dr. Little Rock, AR. 72205.
