Ryan Lawrence Woodson of Maumelle, Arkansas a beloved son, brother and grandson passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the age of 32.

Ryan was born on December 21, 1987 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Bruce Alan and Sharon Ashley Woodson.  Ryan was a 2006 graduate of Central Arkansas Christian Schools.  He attended Harding University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, majoring in construction management. He was a member of Levy Church of Christ.

Ryan had a radiant smile and contagious laugh.  He was compassionate and genuine and he loved his family and friends with all of his heart.  Ryan had a passion for the outdoors and he was an avid duck and deer hunter.

Over the last year, Ryan enjoyed helping others who were in need or struggling.  He had an insatiable desire to use his remaining years to continue helping and serving.

Ryan is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Woodson.  He is survived by his parents and brother Bruce, Sharon and Brady Woodson as well as his grandparents, Bill and Pat Ashley and Virginia Woodson.

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, a traditional visitation will not be possible. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 1:00pm Riverwood Memorial Gardens 301 Carnahan Drive, Maumelle, Arkansas with Danny Sullivan of Levy Church of Christ officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that the consideration for donations be made to one of the following:  Levy Church of Christ 5124 Camp Robinson Road North Little Rock, AR 72118 or Natural State Recovery Centers 3600 Cantrell Road #303 Little Rock, AR 72202 or River City Ministry-North Little Rock, PO Box 2179, North Little Rock, AR 72115.

The Woodson family welcomes anyone who would like to attend Ryan’s graveside service, we do not want anyone to feel obligated to attend Ryan’s graveside service if there are concerns regarding COVID-19.  We know that you loved Ryan and that you love us and that is more than enough.
