Sam Archer

Sam Buddy Archer, 75, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away on July 11, 2021. Born to the late James and Mary Fielder Archer. Sam spent most of his adult life in the grocery business as a merchandizer. Sam was involved in the Shriners International, it was something he was immensely proud of, even holding the title of Potentate in 1994.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 ½ years, Jane McDonald Archer; Sisters, Dovie Johnson of Cabot, AR and Peggy Bettis of Benton, AR; Sister-in-law, Martha Kage (Ed); Brother-in-law, Jim McDonald (Sharon); Nieces and nephews, Ronny Bettis of Cabot, Michael Bettis of North Little Rock, Greg Bettis of Mayflower, Penny Bettis of Benton, Jim (Dinah) Allison of Memphis, TN, Joe (Laura) Allison of Broken Arrow OK, Jeff (Beth) Allison of Memphis, TN, Amy (Wayne) Johansson, and Stacey McDonald. He is preceded in death by his parents (Jim and Mary Archer), and his in-laws Junior and Pearl McDonald.

A graveside service will be Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 1:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
