Shirley Marie McEuen, 73, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away January 29, 2020. She was born October 3, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Frank Earl and Marjorie Marie (Ridgeway) Jarvis.
Shirley loved unconditionally and was a wonderful example of what a wife and mother should be. She adored her grandchildren (all fourteen of them!) and was often found with one hanging on her hip. Shirley was talented in multi-tasking and was a pro at feeding a bottle, changing a diaper, and driving - all at the same time! Bowling was Shirley's favorite hobby, which she passed down to her children and grandchildren. She was known in all the bowling league circles and won many tournaments.
Preceding Shirley in death are her parents; and brother, Frank Jarvis.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-six years, Kenneth McEuen of Alexander, Arkansas; two sons: Todd McEuen and wife Michelle of Alexander and Tim McEuen and wife Jessica of Bryant, Arkansas; daughter, Jodi Lear and husband Barry of Mabelvale, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren: Justin, Austin and wife Emily, Colton, Max, Kalyn and husband Cody, Kris, Alex, Mackenzie, Emily, Haley, Blake, Mattie, Nathan, and Maverick; great-grandchildren, Tanner, and one on-the-way; two sisters: Elaine Rice and husband Bill of Kansas City, Missouri and Joyce Rivera and husband Caesar of Houston, Texas; brother, Steve Jarvis and wife Sue of South Dakota; and many family members and friends who love Shirley and will miss her always.
Family will hold a Celebration of Shirley's Life at a later date.
