Shirley Lee Noggle

Shirley Lee Noggle, 73, of McRae, Arkansas was met by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as she woke up in Heaven on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 31, 1948 to the late Thomas Butler and Clida Ellen Flanigan Hubbard and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 22 years Cletus Noggle, and by seven brothers and sisters.

Shirley and Cletus formed and were members of a traveling gospel group that played throughout Missouri and Arkansas.  She regularly played piano at her church and sang as well.  She was a long-time member of the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church and had attended the Union Valley Baptist Church until health would not allow her to go.  Shirley was a regular at Martha Jeans and Happy Jacks restaurants in Beebe where she loved to visit with everyone.   She worked as a Medical Receptionist throughout her work career and enjoyed crafting at home or with a group.

Shirley is survived by her children, Deidre Robinson (Jeffrey) of Beebe, Derek Sain (Molly) of Sikeston, Missouri, Diane Boyd (Jim) of Searcy, Danny Noggle of Arizona, Vickie Sauceda of Searcy, Terry Noggle of Searcy, and Darla Jones (Ron) of Florida; by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by her sister Lillian Jenkins of Sikeston, Missouri and her brother Eddie Hubbard (Jackie) of Union City, Tennessee.  Also, by many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss her.  We can’t leave out her chihweenie, the apple of her eye, Sadie and Poochie, her beloved companions.  The family would also like to mention Lindsey, her friend and caregiver these past few years who she thought of as another daughter.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rosebud, Arkansas by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.
