Timothy Bolte

Timothy A.  Bolte, 52, died unexpectedly on February 23, 2021. His loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Timothy, beloved son of Keith and Connie (Castleman) Bolte was born May 2, 1968 at St John’s Hospital at Huron, South Dakota. He grew up in Tigard, Oregon and graduated high school there. He went on to serve 23 years in the Oregon National Guard during which time he was deployed to Iraq in 2003 with the 101st Airborne Division.

Timothy attended George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, where he was awarded a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude. He held several senior management positions in the local area. Timothy married Traci Parri in Tigard, Oregon and together they reared three children, Brandon, Brittany and Mikayla.

Later, Tim relocated to Memphis, Tennessee to accept a management position with Smith & Nephew, Inc. While employed there he met the love of his life, and his best friend, Kathleen “Kat” Couch. Together they were rearing four 4-legged fur kids.

Anyone who knew Tim, knew that he was incredibly kindhearted. He had an immense passion for his human and fur families. He loved watching Motocross having been a Motocross competitor during his high school years. In 2019 Tim and his dad rode motorcycles from Memphis to North Carolina to ride the infamous “Tail of the Dragon.”

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mildred and Irven Bolte; maternal grandparents, Corbin and Jesse Castleman; and his mother, Connie Beth Castleman (McAllister). He is survived by his wife, Kat; children, Brandon, Brittany and Mikayla; brother, Chad Bolte (Alex); and his father, Keith Bolte (Karen); a niece and nephew; and stepchildren, Kaylie and Austin.

His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
