Tyler Buck

July 7, 2009 — November 13, 2021

Tyler Buck

Tyler Preston Buck, 12, of Benton, Arkansas received his angel wings on November 13, 2021.  He was born on July 7, 2009 in Little Rock, Arkansas to James and Lisa Buck.

Tyler was an avid gamer and spent most of his time playing video games with friends.  He and his sister, Lauren, would often play video games and enjoyed hanging out together.  He liked her fixing his hair, especially when she spiked it.

Tyler was passionate about Super Cars-with the Koenigsegg being his favorite.  One of his dreams became a reality when Tyler and his family flew to Atlanta, via private jet, where Tyler, his mom, dad and sister were met at the airport courtesy of Motorcars of Atlanta, transported in a Rolls Royce and a Lamborghini (for Tyler only) to Porsche Headquarters for a VIP tour, lunch, a very special Porsche Experience for Tyler and his sister, Lauren, along with a party and special gifts. Then they went to Motorcars of Atlanta for the for the extremely rare Koenigsegg Experience hosted by Mr. Atique himself!  It was a trip the family will cherish always.  Tyler felt like his car friends were part of his family and often invited them to family functions.

Tyler also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and building Legos.

Tyler was a tough, strong willed, young man who had to grow up fast.  He went through more than most adults have had to go through.  He always had a smile on his face despite how he felt.  He fought hard and kept the faith that he would get better as long as there were options and treatments available to try.  He wasn’t ready to say “I’m done” until he knew there was not a cure.

Preceding Tyler in death are his paternal grandparents, Joe and Jimmie Buck; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Dunlap, Jr.

Tyler leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, James and Lisa Buck of Benton, Arkansas; sister and best friend, Lauren Buck of Benton, Arkansas; maternal grandmother, Benita Duer of North Little Rock, Arkansas; great-grandmother, Beverly Cole of Little Rock, Arkansas; aunt, Brandy Duer of North Little Rock, Arkanas; cousin, Preston Duer of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Tyler and will miss him always.
