Velda Hudgens

Velda Marie Hudgens, 88, passed away February 21, 2021.  She was born in Belleville, AR, to Perry and Ila Lampkin. Velda was an Interior Designer and a member of First Baptist Church.

Velda is survived by her husband of 65 years, Billy Max Hudgens; her son, Phillip Kent Hudgens (Susan); grandchildren, Steven Hudgens (Kailey), Perry Hudgens (Jenna); great-grandsons, Hudson and Emmett Hudgens; siblings, Laverne Ball, Brenda Smith, Darrell Lampkin (Sherry); and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jim Lampkin, and sister, Billie Metzger.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, followed by a 11:00 a.m. funeral service. A private family burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
