Obituary

Warren R. Osborne, Sr., 69, of Benton, Arkansas passed away November 14, 2021.  He was born July 2, 1952 in San Francisco, California to the late Ray Ellis and Geraldine (Pruett) Osborne.

Warren served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a truck driver with Martin Marietta.  Most importantly, Warren was a Christian and a founding member of Living Waters Full Gospel Church of Malvern.  He played the guitar and was a member of the music ministry.  He assisted Pastor Loyd White and other members in remodeling and building the church to what it is today.  Warren loved to greet fellow veterans no matter where he was.  He would shake their hand and hug their neck, especially if they were wearing a United States Navy hat.

Preceding Warren in death are his parents, Ray and Geraldine Osborne; brother, Danny Osborne; mother of his children, Shelby Scruggs; and step-daughter, Kimberly Hazlett Caple.

He leaves behind his wife and caregiver, Debbie Osborne of Benton, Arkansas; children:  Deana Osborne of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rebecca “Becky” Johnson and husband Nick of Benton, Arkansas, and Warren  R. Osborne, Jr. (Bubba) and wife Amy of Little Rock, Arkansas; step-children:  Matthew Hazlett and wife Sarah of Center Ridge, Arkansas, Charles Hazlett of Russellville, Arkansas, and Bethany Hazlett of Benton, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; sister, Karren Lee of Mayflower, Arkansas; half-sisters:  Catherine Kinser of Liberty, West Virginia and Patsy Pruett of Stuttgart, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who will miss Warren always.
