William Grant "Chuck" Smith

William Grant "Chuck" Smith of Beebe passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas surrounded by his family.  He was 60 years old.

Chuck was born on October 26, 1961 in Casablanca, Morocco to Charles & Norma Smith and was employed by United Healthcare.

He is survived by his mom, Norma, of Beebe; his brother and sister-in-law, Shane & Mary Beth Smith of Beebe, his niece, Hope Smith of Beebe, and numerous family & friends, and his sidekick, Lexi the dog.  He was preceded in death by his dad, Charles Smith of Beebe.

Chuck was a very intelligent man who enjoyed discussing current events and sports.  He never met a subject he didn't like to argue with his little brother about and was very passionate about the game of golf and was on a golf course almost every weekend.  As passionate as Chuck was about golf, he was even more passionate about spending time with family, especially his mom.  If Chuck wasn't helping out his mom at home, he would often take her to places such as Hot Springs.  Chuck was a compassionate man who cared about those closest to him.  He enjoyed talking to Hope about school and volleyball.  Chuck will be missed, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 8th at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home (404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr.) in Beebe.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., November 9th in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
