Betty Gandy

Betty Lou Ward Gandy, passed away on April 26, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1930 in England, Arkansas to the late John “Bill” William and Elizabeth B. Methvin Ward.

She is survived by a daughter, Lou Ann Oates and husband William “Bill” Oates; one step-daughter, Susan Hendrick and husband David and all of her Redfield friends; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; all of the Arkansas Graphics family that she worked with for over forty years.  As well as the many children she ‘mothered’ over the course of her life.

She is preceded in death by four siblings; sons, Ronald Gene Rogers and Jerry Lynn Gandy; and best friend, Charlie Metcalf Jones, all of Redfield, Arkansas.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. A private family service will be livestreamed at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020 at facebook.com/smithnorthlittlerockfuneralhome . Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Redfield Cemetery. All are welcome to the graveside service.
