Cornelia "Connie" McGill

Cornelia “Connie” Roberta Mellard McGill age 93, of New Braunfels, Texas joined her Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Connie was born October 20, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Ira Wesley and Marie Cornelia Giles Mellard.

Survivors are her husband, John Arch McGill; three children, Dr. John Robert McGill and wife, Grace of Alva, Florida, Marci McGill Alvis of Hockley, Texas and Jan McGill Elmore and husband, Chip Miller of New Braunfels, Texas; seven grandchildren, Brad and Rebecca Elmore of Houston, Texas, Russell and Ann Clark Elmore of Memphis, Tennessee, Jill and J R Kraft of Austin, Texas, John Elmore of Austin, Texas, Austin and Holly Alvis of Houston, Texas, Andrew and Paige Alvis of Houston, Texas and Londell Aberdeen of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Benjamin and Florence Mellard of Chino, California and Bob and Nancy Mellard of Pomona, California; three sisters, Betty Hansen of Portland, Oregon, Ruth and Tommy Brown of Magnolia, Arkansas and Margaret and Darrell Bazzell of Anthem City, Arizona.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 20th at Dobyville Cemetery near Okolona.
