Jerry George, Sr.
Jerry Wallace George, Sr., 86, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with Jesus January 20, 2020. He was born March 10, 1933 to Hadley and Ruth George, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jerry enjoyed coaching baseball and traveling.
Jerry is survived by five children, Steve (Carole) George, Keith (Alice) George, Brenda (Cliff) McGaha, Lori (Marc) Prentice, and Jerry (Maria) George, Jr.; three grandchildren, Patricia (Jason) Smith, Patrick (Lydia) Prentice and Victoria (Robert) Fyffe; five great grandchildren, Michael, Sabrina, Saibhen, McKinley and Robert, Jr.; one brother Charles George, and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife of fifty-four years, Elizabeth George.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2020, at Beebe First United Methodist Church. Cremation arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
