Raymond Dickey Peters

Raymond “Dickey” Peters, age 73, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital in Malvern. He was born to Richard and Hazel Wingfield Peters on September 16, 1947.

Dickey was a member of Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.  He was a retired Volunteer Arkadelphia Fireman, and retired from Wal-Mart.  Dickey loved attending Davidson Campground and never missed a camp meeting.  He also loved attending Badger Football games.

Dickey was preceded in death by his father, Richard Peters, and brother, Gary Peters.  He is survived by his mother, Hazel Peters; two sons, Scott (Wendy) Peters, Kyle (Emily) Peters; and one daughter, Kelli (Lee) Loy; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Becky Peters; one special nephew, Michael Peters; and “Mom” Anita Peters of Arkadelphia.

A walkthrough visitation will be Monday, April 19, 2021 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home , 517 Clay St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10AM at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, with Bro. James Guthrie officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to a Church of your choice or to Davidson Campground , C/O Austin Wingfield, 620 Pine St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
